Do you know what Kangen water consists of? We reveal it to you in this article about what this type of water is and how it is made.

‘Kangen’ is a word of Japanese origin, whose meaning is “return to the origin” or  “return to the source”, which means that the process generates a water which has been purified, being more similar to virgin water than we find in nature.

Therefore, Kangen Water is a type of water presented as low molecular weight (between 5 or 6 molecules approximately), so that we are faced with a microstructure that ultimately offers us a particularly hydrating type of water.

How is the process of making Kangen Water?

This type of water is generated by passing the water through a specific type of machine, which filters and ionizes the water in order to eliminate free radicals, change the pH of the water to an alkaline or basic pH (between 8 , 5 to 11.0), and adds in turn what is known as active hydrogen.

In the case of Kangen ionizers that are placed in the tap, they have titanium plates bathed in 100% platinum, which change the molecular structure present in tap water, so that it transforms it into water with smaller groups.

What are its medicinal virtues?

According to the manufacturers of this water, drinking alkaline water prevents the formation of diseases, while slowing the aging process. On the other hand, it also provides essential minerals, maintains the pH value in the blood, and promotes normal blood flow.

In other words, it is a type of water that helps our body to establish a good balance, at the same time that it is capable of increasing the body’s hydration, and therefore improving the efficiency of penetration into our cells.
