But although the ex-tennis player and the presenter practically do everything together, it is true that in the case of smoothies they prefer to go separately.

Why? While for Carolina it is essential to feel light and take care of her figure, choosing for this the  Zespri Green kiwi  (low in calories, rich in actinide and high in fiber), Carlos, a born athlete, is looking for an extra dose of energy to help him to perform at your best in your workouts, for which you choose  Zespri Sun Gold  (slightly tropical sweet taste and high in vitamin C).

Zespri Green smoothie recipe by Carolina Cerezuela

To prepare this recipe of 2 servings it will only take 5 minutes, with an easy difficulty.

Ingredients you need:

  • 4 Zespri Green kiwifruit
  • 350 gr. Toad skin melon
  • 15 fresh spinach leaves (baby type)
  • Crushed ice (2 tablespoons per glass)
  • Peppermint (for garnish)


Peel the Zespri Green kiwifruit and cut them into quarters. Remove the skin and seeds from the melon and cut it into small pieces.

Mix all the ingredients in an American blender glass. Blend on full power for about 1 minute or until smooth and smooth.

Ready! Serve the smoothies in glasses and garnish with some mint leaves.

Zespri Sun Gold smoothie recipe by Carlos Moyá

To prepare this recipe of 2 servings it will only take 5 minutes, with easy difficulty.

Ingredients you need:

  • 4 Zespri Sun Gold kiwifruit
  • 60 gr. banana
  • 200 ml. of almond drinks
  • Crushed ice (for serving, two tablespoons per glass)


Cut the Zespri Sun Gold kiwifruit in half and remove the pulp with the help of a spoon. Also remove the skin from the banana and cut it into medium-thick slices.

In the glass of an American mixer, mix the pulp of the kiwis and the banana, add the almond drink and blend at maximum speed for approximately 1 minute.

Ready! Serve in glasses with a little crushed ice.

Zespri Green and Zespri Sun Gold: two varieties of kiwi very rich in essential nutrients

As recommended and advised by many nutritionists, including fruits and vegetables in our daily diet is essential when it comes to enjoying optimal functioning of our body.
