Traditionally, the beer is a drink that has a great historical tradition. It was developed by the ancient Egyptian, Sumerian and Elamite peoples, dating some evidence of its production around 3,500 BC, found in Elam (Iran).
It is a generally alcoholic beverage, not distilled, that has a generally bitter taste, which is made with cereals such as barley, hops and malt, and whose starches are fermented in yeast water.
Although over the years the different beer brands have manufactured different types and varieties of beers, reaching the market the equally popular non-alcoholic beer, and one of the latest creations: the 0, 0 beer.
Why did brands create 0, 0 beer?
We must bear in mind that, although it is called non-alcoholic beer, the reality is that we do find alcohol in this type of drink.
The only thing that truly the amount that we find (just 1%, approximately between 0.4º to 0.6º) is not comparable to the greater amount of alcohol that we do find in a normal beer (approximately 5º).
For this reason, the arrival on the market of the so-called beer 0.0 is due to the attempt of the beer brands to offer a beer drink made with the same ingredients with which traditional beer is made, but without any alcohol (generally water, barley, malt and hops).
