Without a doubt, summer is coming to an end and in a few days autumn will be here.  Summer is a good season to benefit from both fruits and vegetables that help us take care of the line and our health, as we advised in a previous article.

However, sometimes it is inevitable that just by relaxing and enjoying the holidays we can gain a few extra pounds. That is why it is important not only to lose those kilos that may have more, it is also important to detoxify the body of excess fats, sweets, salty, alcohol.

To detoxify or purify the body we can resort to cold vegetable soups, vegetable creams, juices, and infusions with the same function . In other previous articles you will see recipes for purifying juices as well as knowing different herbs and plants to make purifying infusions.

Here are some ideas to prepare recipes for soups with satiating and purifying properties.  These soup recipes will give you satiety as a single dish or as a dinner and will provide fewer calories while you are dieting.

Leek soup

Ingredients:

  • Two large leeks.
  • A potato.
  • One liter of homemade or industrial vegetable broth.
  • One teaspoon of extra mild flavor olive oil.
  • A pinch of salt.
  • A pinch of ground black pepper.

Elaboration:

  1. We cut the green leaves of the leeks until we reach the white stem.
  2. We wash the leeks well and cut them into slices.
  3. We remove the skin from the potato, wash it and cut it into four pieces.
  4. We put the broth to heat in a cauldron over low heat, when it is hot we add the leeks and the potato.
  5. Add a pinch of salt and pepper to the stew and cook over low heat for about 20 minutes.
  6. We turn off the heat and crush the cream with the help of the mixer.
  7. We can eat this cream both hot and cold.

White or green asparagus soup

Ingredients:

  • Two bunches of asparagus.
  • An onion.
  • A potato.
  • One liter of homemade or industrial vegetable broth.
  • One teaspoon of extra mild flavor olive oil.
  • A pinch of salt and ground black pepper.

Elaboration:

  1. We wash the asparagus well, discard the hardest part and chop it into small pieces.
  2. We remove the skin from the onion and cut it into small pieces.
  3. We remove the skin from the potato, wash it and cut it into four pieces.
  4. In a cauldron we put the broth to heat over medium heat.
  5. Once hot, we lower the heat and add the onion, asparagus and potatoes.
  6. We cook everything together over low heat and add a little salt and a pinch of black pepper.
  7. We keep cooking for 30 minutes.
  8. Once the soup is cooked, we will pass it through the blender to crush it.
  9. We can eat it both hot and cold.

Cucumber soup

This soup, in addition to the cucumber, has other ingredients that make it a purifying soup as well as satiating.

Ingredients:

  • Two cucumbers.
  • A small green pepper.
  • A small onion.
  • Three sprigs of parsley.
  • Half a clove of garlic.
  • A drizzle of extra mild flavor olive oil.
  • 125 ml. of water.
  • The juice of a small lemon.
  • A pinch of salt.

Elaboration:

  1. We remove the skin from the cucumbers, wash them and cut them into small squares.
  2. We remove the skin from the onion and chop it finely.
  3. Peel the garlic clove and cut it in half.
  4. We wash the parsley branches and chop them.
  5. We put all the ingredients in the blender, the water and we crush everything together.
  6. Add the olive oil and salt and stir slowly with a spoon.
  7. This cucumber soup is eaten cold like gazpacho.
