Homemade green tomato jam recipe

Ingredients you need:

  • 1 kg of green tomatoes
  • 1kg of sugar
  • 1 cinnamon stick

Preparation of the green tomato jam:

First, wash the tomatoes well. Then remove the stalk and cut them into small pieces (preferably in four pieces so that they cook better later).

In an ideal saucepan for jams place the tomatoes, sugar and cinnamon stick. Heat over the heat until it reaches the boiling point, and then lower the heat to simmer, stirring frequently.

You should check the consistency of the jam from time to time. As soon as it reaches the consistency you like, let it foam at the end of cooking, remove the cinnamon stick and place it in jars.
