To achieve this, it is useful to use mild soaps or water-based gels, clay-based or milk-based cleansers, and use astringent herbal or plant infusions. Regarding the use and application of facial masks, it is possible to make our own homemade mask for oily skin at home, using only one hundred percent natural ingredients.

It is an ideal mask specially designed for oily and acne-prone skin because it helps improve skin hydration while naturally cleansing it of impurities and reducing the presence of oil. In addition, it has the advantage that it will not dry out the skin.

Homemade yogurt and honey mask recipe ideal for oily skin

Ingredients you need:

  • 1 teaspoon plain yogurt (unflavored)
  • 1 teaspoon of honey

Preparation of the yogurt and honey mask:

The steps are extremely easy and simple. You just have to put the honey in a small saucepan and heat it a little in the microwave, just a few seconds. If you don’t have a microwave, you can heat a little water in a saucepan and then add the honey in the amount indicated.

Then, in a wooden bowl, if possible, add the hot honey and yogurt. Stir and stir well, consistently.

How to apply the homemade mask on the skin:

You just have to wash your face well and dry it before applying it. Then put the mask on the skin, and let it act between 15 to 20 minutes. To finish, remove the mask with the help of hot water.
