Winter fruit

Some time ago we explained what the main fruits of autumn were, knowing that at this beautiful time of year in which we find ourselves, grapes, persimmons, figs, papaya, pear and pomegranate stand out.

In addition to containing important benefits and properties, these fruits can become – there is no doubt – fundamental ingredients in some of the best autumn recipes.

But time is leaving soon, and although it is true that we have almost just entered autumn, in a short time we will find ourselves in winter, so knowing what winter fruits are can be useful to know what fruits we will find during this season. Station.

Winter fruits.

  • Tangerines: it is a curious fruit, very sweet and juicy, being rich in vitamin C and B, ideal to help us increase our defenses. In addition, because it has a high content of vitamin C, it is a highly antioxidant fruit, helping to prevent aging.
  • Pineapple: it is a fruit that can be very good in weight loss diets, because it has very few calories, a lot of water, and is also rich in vitamins. We must not forget that it provides fiber, having detoxifying properties.
  • Orange: Like mandarins, they contain a significant amount of vitamin C, while it is satiating, helps in the elimination of toxins, reduces cholesterol, is highly antioxidant and -in addition- anticancer.
  • Cherimoya: It is a fruit rich in water, vitamin C and potassium, so it has important diuretic properties, as well as being very nutritious thanks to its content of carbohydrates and sugars.
