The three best natural exfoliants for our skin

Did you know that you can exfoliate your skin completely naturally? It is very useful to speed up the skin renewal process, and remove accumulated dead cells more easily.

It is very normal that over time, all kinds of spots and imperfections appear on our face in the form of wrinkles or those annoying blackheads.

For this reason, through the following lines we are going to tell you in great detail about some of the natural exfoliants that you can prepare in a simple and natural way and that will also help you enjoy much smoother and rejuvenated skin.

What are scrubs and what are they for?

Exfoliation  is simply essential when it comes to enjoying  healthy skin in good condition, since it is useful when it comes to  eliminating the different dead cells that accumulate on its surface, preventing it from ‘breathing’ properly.

As we explained on a previous occasion, in which we were precisely talking about psoriasis (a chronic skin disease that is more common than is often thought), the different skin cells regularly tend to grow from the deepest layers, rising to the surface rather slowly. That is, they multiply.

These cells are constantly replaced, so the dead cells present on the surface end up being eliminated. This is what is known as cell renewal: they grow, multiply, die and finally renew themselves.

In this sense, exfoliation accelerates this natural phenomenon. How and in what way? Very simple: they help stimulate cell regeneration, as well as the blood microcirculation present on the surface. As a result, the skin becomes much softer and suppler.

Banana and sugar for the whole body

One of the most consumed fruits also offers many benefits for our skin if we apply it directly. Best of all, its preparation is very simple and most of the ingredients can be found at home or at the nearest supermarket.

First of all, you just have to take a good banana and mash it well until you have a very heterogeneous paste. Next, we add three tablespoons of sugar that we will mix with this fruit mass using a fork. And if you want, you can also use half a tablespoon of vanilla extract to get a better result.

It is recommended to use all of this mixture on any part of the body, excluding the face. As in the legs, hands, buttocks or shoulders. If you apply this paste and remove it later with a little hot water, you will see how all your skin looks much smoother in an extra time.

Mint and olive oil for lips

It is very normal that after spring arrives, all our lips suffer due to sudden changes in temperature. This can be seen in the typical irritations, fevers and herpes that can appear in the most unexpected way. To do this, we can make use of the following mixture made with mint and sugar that we can prepare in just a few minutes.

To do this, you just have to take three or four drops of mint oil and mix them later with a tablespoon of olive oil. If you want, you can also add a little powdered sugar to make the mixture settle better.

To finish, you have to apply all this mixture carefully over the entire lip surface for at least a minute to finally rinse the area a little with water. You can repeat this whole process a couple of times a day without any problem. You will see how after a few weeks your lips return to their original color and softness.

Poppy seeds to get rid of dead skin

Dead skin can appear anywhere on our body without warning. The truth is that it is something that turns out to be quite unsightly over time. But there is not nothing to worry.  For this situation we also offer you a natural exfoliant that turns out to be the most powerful.

On this occasion we refer to the poppy seeds that you can prepare in the following way.  First of all, we have to take a good handful of seeds of this flower and mix it later with any vegetable oil that we find. And to finish, you have to apply all this mixture in circular movements and then remove the remains with plenty of hot water.

In this way, it will be easier to get rid of the dead layers of the skin and rehydrate the entire area in a healthy and natural way. And the best of all is that in just a few minutes you will have prepared this scrub that you can use anywhere on the body. Although its use is recommended especially on the hands since it is an area that is very prone to drying out.
