3 delicious recipes to make nougat flan
Flan nougat Jejuna
Ingredients:
- A tablet of nougat from Jejuna or soft nougat, (250 gr. or 300 gr.).
- A small brick of whipping cream, (200 ml).
- One liter of whole or skimmed milk.
- A large envelope of powders to make flan (8 units).
- 3 tablespoons of white sugar.
- Liquid caramel, homemade or industrial (to caramelize the mold).
Elaboration:
We begin by crumbling the nougat tablet, either with our hands or with the blender. Crumbled the nougat we will put it in a bowl or bowl and add the milk, the sugar, the cream, and the flan powders.
Activate the mixer arm and mix the ingredients well. Put the mixture obtained in a saucepan or heater over the heat and cook over low heat until it reaches a boil, stirring frequently.
Once it boils, turn off the heat. Caramelize the bottom and the walls of the mold. Pour the flan mixture into the caramelized mold.
Then we put the mold in the refrigerator so that the flan sets with the cold. After a few hours we will check if it has acquired the texture of flan. A little before serving, remove the flan from the fridge and carefully unmold it.

Coconut nougat flan
Ingredients:
- A tablet of coconut nougat, 200 grams.
- A small brick of cooking cream, (200ml).
- One sachet of Royal curd.
- A tablespoon of sugar.
- 2 glasses of whole or skimmed milk or 400 ml. milk.
- Homemade or industrial liquid caramel (to caramelize the mold).
Elaboration:
We crumble the nougat. Once shredded we put it in a saucepan or heater. Add the cream, milk, sugar and beat with the mixer arm.
Once well crushed, add the curd sachet and stir to integrate it well.
Then we put the mixture on the fire and cook over low heat, stirring frequently until it thickens a little, about 6 minutes.
Remove the mixture from the heat and pour it over the previously caramelized mold or flan tray. Put the flan in the fridge to set for at least 2 hours. Before serving, unmold it carefully.
Fruit nougat flan
Ingredients:
- A bar of fruit nougat of 250 gr. or 300 gr.
- One liter of whole or skimmed milk.
- An envelope of Royal flan powder for (8 units).
- A small brick of cream for cooking, (200 ml.).
- 2 tablespoons of sugar.
- Industrial or homemade liquid caramel, (to caramelize the mold).
Elaboration:
We extract the nougat from the package and crumble it. We can crumble it with our hands or crush it with the blender. We put the crumbled nougat in the blender, add the milk, the sugar, the cream and beat everything together.
Add the sachet of flan powder and beat again. Pour the nougat mixture into a saucepan or heater and put it on the fire.
Cook over low heat until it boils. Once it boils, turn off the heat. We caramelize the bottom and the walls of the mold or flan box. Pour the nougat mixture into the mold and put it in the fridge.
We keep the fruit nougat flan in the refrigerator to set for at least 2 hours. Once the time has elapsed, remove the flan from the refrigerator and carefully remove it from the mould.
