Natural remedies with baking soda to relieve itching
The bicarbonate remedy that we will prepare is for itchy hands and feet.
To prepare this remedy we need:
- Half a teaspoon of baking soda.
- 2 and half liters of warm water.
Heat the water and once hot add the baking soda. Dissolve and let cool.
Once it is lukewarm, we put the water in a basin or basin and submerge the feet or hands, depending on whether some limbs or others are affected by itching.
Natural remedy for eczema
Honey has many beneficial properties for our body and among them is those that are beneficial for the skin; it is anti-inflammatory, regenerating, and antibacterial.
This natural remedy, in addition to honey, contains lemon essential oil, rich in vitamin C, an antioxidant that helps us regenerate skin cells.

- Half a teaspoon of honey.
- 4 drops of lemon essential oil.
- 125ml from mineral water.

We will prepare the chamomile infusion with a teaspoon of chamomile flowers and a cup of mineral water. Bring the water to a boil and once it boils, add the chamomile and remove from the heat. Cover the infusion and let it rest for 10 minutes.
Strain the infusion and let it cool. When it is warm we can apply it on the skin.
Application: Soak sterile gauze in the infusion and apply it to the itchy skin area.
Oatmeal water to soothe itching
Oatmeal has many beneficial properties for the skin, it is anti-inflammatory, which will help us to reduce inflammation and also relieves itching.
To prepare this remedy we need a tablespoon of oatmeal and 125 ml. of water. We put the water to heat and once hot we remove from the fire. Let cool, add the oats, stir to dilute the oats.
Application: We wash the itchy area with this preparation.
Useful tips for itchy skin
Some tips can also be useful when suffering from itching:
- We should not scratch the affected area as this will irritate the area and further aggravate the condition of the skin.
- Wash our hands well so that the skin does not get infected.
- Wash both underwear and towels well after we use them.
- Always keep your skin well hydrated.
- Use mild soap, gel and shampoo with neutral PH.
