The bad smell of the armpits can be remedied and greatly reduced with this homemade deodorant about whose recipe to prepare it at home we will talk to you on this occasion. Find out how to do it easily.
You may think that the bad smell of the armpits is due to bad, bad or incorrect hygiene, but the reality is quite different: although it can be a cause in some specific cases, the truth is that we are rather dealing with a condition that is related to hormonal or glandular factors. That is to say, in most occasions it has little to do with hygiene and with the cleanliness that we maintain on a daily basis.
When we sweat excessively, either because we carry out certain physical activities that influence it, because we get tense or nervous or because there is simply an excess of heat in the environment (especially during the summer months), this sweating gives way to an accumulation of bacteria that are the main culprits of that unpleasant odor.
As a result, it has a very negative influence on the self-esteem of the person who suffers it, causing in turn certain discomforts not only in himself but also in those around him and with whom he relates.
If you like natural products with this simple home remedy to make, you can have a deodorant ready to use after showering. With this homemade and chemical-free deodorant we can have the armpits free of the smell of sweat so that we will feel fresh throughout the day.
The natural ingredients that we use to make this homemade deodorant contain astringent, antiseptic, and antibiotic properties. In addition to these properties, each of these ingredients also provides its aromas such as the scent of lavender, rosemary and lemon. Once the deodorant is prepared, we will apply it to the armpits after showering.
How to prepare homemade underarm deodorant:
To prepare the deodorant we will make an infusion with fresh or dried rosemary.
Ingredients you need:
We will need 250 ml. of water and 5 tablespoons of rosemary.
We put the water to heat and when it boils we add the rosemary. We keep the infusion boiling for about 3 minutes. We turn off the heat, cover the infusion and let it rest for about 10 minutes. Uncover, strain the infusion and let it cool.
We add the following essential oils to the rosemary infusion:
- 12 drops of lavender essential oil.
- 12 drops of lemon essential oil.
- 25 ml. 90 degree alcohol.
We stir to mix and store the deodorant in a bottle that has a spray bottle. Every time we are going to apply it to the armpits, we must first shake it.
