Enjoying a clean and healthy face can be very simple: just clean your skin and keep it hydrated. Find out with this simple daily routine.

To maintain a daily hygiene routine on the skin of the face, in order to enjoy the cleanest and healthiest skin possible, 4 steps are required, which we will talk about throughout this note: remove make-up, cleanse, exfoliate and moisturize.

Do you need to maintain a daily routine to enjoy clearer and brighter facial skin, but you don’t know where to start? You probably think that washing your face every day with a little soap and water is enough, both when you wake up in the morning and when you shower at night. But the truth is that, when it comes to keeping our skin in good condition, this is not enough.

Why? Fundamentally because it is necessary to nourish our skin, providing it with vitamins, minerals and other essential nutrients both to care for it and to protect it. And because, in addition, it is common to use other products whose remains can remain on the face, despite having removed them carefully. It is the case of makeup.

In this sense, there are many experts who recommend using makeup according to the type of skin that each person has, and even doing some other test that helps to know if you are allergic to makeup or to a certain ingredient contained in these creams and powders.

But to enjoy a healthy and clean face, one of the best recommendations that can be given is to cleanse the skin every day with make-up removers or cleansers, regardless of whether we have put on make-up or not.

You can use gels, foams, milks or toners (to name just a few examples), and in this way we will get rid of both impurities and excess sebum, and you will also remove the remains of makeup in case, if I allow redundancy, you’ve put on makeup.

But to achieve a pure and healthy face, you should -at least- clean your face twice a day, especially in the morning to remove the fat secreted while we sleep (and refresh it), and at night to remove the remains of makeup and the impurities.

In this way, not only will it be possible to eliminate the different impurities that affect each person’s skin, but it will also help improve the health of the skin, even delaying aging itself.

Also remember to drink at least 2 liters of water a day, and maintain a healthy diet rich in greens, vegetables, and fruits, as this will in turn help you maintain good skin health, keeping it hydrated and looking certainly enviable.

Daily routine to maintain clean skin and face easily

If you have used makeup throughout the day…

If you have put on makeup at some point during the day (for example, before going out in the morning), and even renewed it afterwards, it is quite likely that there will still be traces of it even if you have tried to remove it when you arrive at house in the afternoon.

If so, it is convenient to remove makeup effectively. It is, in fact, the first step to follow in your nightly routine to cleanse your skin in depth.

And how can you do it? Very simple: using a make-up remover product that has been manufactured or designed for this purpose. A good example is makeup remover wipes, whose texture helps gently and gently remove the deepest makeup.

Wash your facial skin (always with warm water)

After removing the make-up from the skin of your face with the help of a make-up remover product or make-up remover wipes, it is time to wash the skin of the face, which will help you to eliminate fat, contaminants and other impurities that throughout the day they have been accumulating on the skin.

Since what we are looking for is to open the pores to try to eliminate as many impurities as possible, the key is to use warm water. Once this is done, apply a cleansing product to the skin of the face, doing it with circular movements. Then rinse your skin with a little warm water and remove the cleanser completely.

Again, it may be appropriate to rinse your face again, this time with lukewarm water. In this way you will make sure to completely eliminate the trace of impurities that have still been left on the skin.

Finally, dry yourself with the help of a soft towel, without rubbing it to avoid causing damage to the skin. In this sense, it is best to try to dry the skin with light pats.

Now is the time to exfoliate your skin

After rinsing our skin to remove impurities and oils from the skin, it is time to exfoliate it. In this way, we will be able to eliminate the dead cells that have remained on the skin, and if they are not removed, they can cause problems of clogged pores and irritation.

Although it is not necessary to exfoliate the skin every day (it is more advisable not to do it daily in fact), it is appropriate to do it at least 2 or 3 times a week.

To do this, use an exfoliant suitable for your skin type, which is as soft as possible.  However, if you find that your skin becomes irritated after exfoliating, you may either need to reduce the frequency or try an even milder exfoliating product.

When you apply the scrub, it is essential not to leave it on the skin of the face for a long time, removing it carefully while rinsing with warm water. Finally, dry your skin again with a towel, applying gentle pats.

And, to finish, moisturize your skin

We come to the last point, one of the most important because it will allow us to keep the skin hydrated and firm. After exfoliating the skin, it is time to moisturize it.

To do this, apply the moisturizing cream using circular movements. In this way you will stimulate blood circulation, and its application will be much easier.

Ready! You are done with your daily cleaning routine. It will help you achieve hydrated, cared for, firm and radiant skin. And although at first it seems like a lot of steps, you will see how by applying them little by little you will later be able to do it practically without thinking about it.
