To do this, you should avoid sunbathing when the heat is very hot, as well as the practice of physical exercise, which especially require physical effort.
If you go to the beach or the pool, in addition to applying sunscreen to prevent sunburn, always wear a hat and an umbrella.
Drink plenty of water, so that you stay hydrated at all times. Cold fruit juices, or infusions or iced teas can also be useful.

- Avoid physical exercise in times of greatest heat. It is essential, especially if you are not used to such a hot climate. It is best to do physical exercise when the heat has subsided, for example, after 7 pm.

Sunstroke, if not treated quickly, can lead to the death of the person who suffers from it. Why? Mainly because it can cause permanent damage, by quickly causing damage to the brain, kidneys, heart and muscles.
Furthermore, as indicated by the Mayo Clinic, “the damage worsens the longer treatment is delayed, which increases the risk of serious complications or death.” For example, the brain and other vital organs can swell from excessive heat (high body temperature), causing permanent damage.
