Ingredients you need:

  • 120 grams dark chocolate (70%)
  • 1 liter of milk
  • 5 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 50 grams white sugar
  • 2 cinnamon sticks

Preparation of hot chocolate with cinnamon:

First you must pour the milk into a saucepan, add the two cinnamon sticks and turn on the heat to heat it. Apart, in another saucepan, dissolve the cocoa powder in 100 ml. of hot milk, stirring well constantly. Now add the sugar to this last saucepan.

In the large saucepan pour the chocolate pieces and stir well until completely melted. Add the cocoa powder, milk and sugar mixture and continue stirring.

To finish, remove the cinnamon and pour the drink into 4 cups. Ready!.

It is also possible to enjoy a wonderful cup of cinnamon hot chocolate, but from a recipe suitable for both vegetarians and vegans. How? Very simple: it consists of replacing the milk with one of your favorite vegetable drinks, for example almond, rice or oat milk. But let’s go step by step:

Ingredients needed:

  • 115 grams dark chocolate (70%)
  • 1 liter of vegetable drink (your favorite)
  • 5 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 50 grams white sugar
  • 2 cinnamon sticks

Preparation of vegan hot chocolate with cinnamon:

As you can imagine, the steps to follow are absolutely the same as those indicated in the previous basic recipe, but substituting milk of animal origin for the vegetable drink. That is, pour the vegetable drink into a saucepan, add the cinnamon sticks and heat.

In another saucepan add 100 ml. of vegetable drink and dissolve the cocoa stirring well and constantly. Then add the sugar.

Now in the large saucepan chop the chocolate and stir until it has completely melted. Add the cocoa powder mixture mixed with the vegetable drink and the sugar and stir again.

Finally remove the cinnamon sticks and pour the drink into 4 cups. To enjoy.
