And, precisely, these are the main allies when it comes to helping us rest much better, since different scientific studies have found that they help reduce the feeling of tiredness and fatigue, both mental and physical.

On the other hand, honey is rich in sugars, which naturally increase insulin levels in our body and produce serotonin (yes, the hormone that improves our mood and also relaxes us).

How to take honey to fall asleep?

One of the most traditional remedies is to drink, before going to bed, a cup of hot milk with one or two teaspoons of honey. In any case, it is advisable to try to enjoy each sip and concentrate on its flavor, in this way we will be able to relax our mind and unwind.

While honey has a calming and relaxing effect, milk is rich in tryptophan, an essential amino acid that increases our serotonin and melatonin levels, slowing down brain activity.

You can also opt for a relaxing infusion sweetened with honey. Among the best plants and herbs we find chamomile, linden and lemon balm. Or you can also make a combination of all of them, but in smaller amounts.
