  • Hypertension. There are also other diseases such as high blood pressure that can later turn into a heart attack. Although in the case of hypertension, its symptoms can be treated if you visit the doctor well in advance.

What signs can there be before a heart attack in women?

Now that we have known the symptoms that can lead to myocardial infarction, below we will emphasize the signs that can tell us that women are prone to suffering from this pathology immediately. Keep in mind that the symptoms are usually somewhat different from the conventional ones and therefore differ a little from those that appear in men.

First of all, it should be noted that the female gender does not usually feel that characteristic pressure on the chest. Its most common symptoms can range from nausea, pain in the abdomen, fatigue, dizziness, pain in the shoulder joints and breathing difficulties.

  • Daily and moderate physical exercise. It is more than proven that daily physical activity can help us reduce the symptoms of a heart attack. This is because any sport practice will make the vessels and arteries widen more and therefore better oxygenate.  It also burns excess calories from our body and encourages the heart muscles.
  • Some very specific drugs. These are known as “vasodilators” and as the name suggests, these drugs reduce blood pressure and cause vessels and arteries to function normally. Although these should only be taken under medical prescription.
