Ingredients:

  • One and a half liters of water.
  • 225 grams of sugar.
  • 300 grams of mint.

Elaboration:

  1. Wash the mint leaves well and discard the branches.
  2. In a cauldron we put the water and the sugar to heat, until it boils.
  3. When it starts to boil, add the mint leaves, turn off the heat, cover and let stand for half an hour.
  4. We pass the infusion through the blender and store it in the freezer.
  5. When it hardens, we take it out and scratch it with a fork to form the granita.

Cava and lemon sorbet

Pears with red wine

Ingredients:

  • 6 pears.
  • 60 grams of sugar.
  • A glass of red wine.
  • A stick of cinnamon.
  • The skin of a lemon.

Elaboration:

  1. Wash the pears well, remove the skin and cut them in half.
  2. Next we remove the central part or heart.
  3. In a cauldron we put the pears and add the wine, the sugar, the lemon skin without the white parts, and the cinnamon.
  4. We cover the cauldron and cook the pears with the fire at a minimum.
  5. We cook until the pears are tender, without destroying them.
  6. Remove from the heat and put the pears in a glass dish or tray and reserve them.
  7. Cook the sauce until it reduces a little, by half.

Ingredients:

  • 2 pears.
  • A vanilla pod or liquid vanilla.
  • A stick of cinnamon.
  • 125ml of water.
  • 125 grams of sugar.

Elaboration:

  1. Wash the pears well and remove the skin.
  2. In a cauldron we put the water, the sugar, the cinnamon, the vanilla to heat.
  3. Once it starts to boil, add the skinless pears.
  4. Cook the pears for about 20 minutes.
  5. Turn off the heat and carefully remove the pears.
  6. We can serve them warm or cold.
  7. If desired, we can serve them sprinkled with a little ground cinnamon.

Mandarin sorbet

Ingredients:

  • Half a liter of lemon sorbet.
  • The juice of 8 tangerines.
  • A few mint leaves.

Elaboration:

  1. We squeeze the tangerines to extract their juice.
  2. In the blender we put the lemon sorbet and the juice of the tangerines and beat well.
  3. Then we pour the tangerine sorbet into individual cups.
  4. We can present it adorned with mint leaves.

Stuffed oranges

Oranges and all fruits belonging to the citrus group have degreasing properties which help digestion, especially after having dinner or eating copiously.

In this recipe we put ingredients for four people, that is, two oranges, if we need more we will increase the ingredients.

Ingredients:

  • 2 oranges.
  • A small can of pineapple in its juice.
  • A small can of peach without syrup.
  • 3 kiwis.
  • A few white grapes.
  • A few black grapes.
  • A handful of raspberries or any other red fruit.
  • A few mint leaves to decorate.
  • Grenadine syrup.
  • A tablespoon of sugar.

Elaboration:

  1. Wash the oranges well and dry them.
  2. Then we cut the oranges in half and extract all the pulp with the help of a knife.
  3. Reserve the pulp and put the empty half oranges in the fridge.
  4. We remove the white parts from the pulp of the orange and the seeds, if any.
  5. In a bowl, put the diced pineapple slices, the diced peach, the skinless and diced kiwis, and the grapes.
  6. We also add the pulp of the chopped orange.
  7. Add the sugar over the fruit salad and stir carefully.
  8. Fill the half oranges with the fruit salad and store it in the fridge, covered with cling film, for at least 3 hours.
  9. Remove the half oranges from the fridge, add the raspberries and add a teaspoon of grenadine syrup on top.
