To do it, you must sit with your legs straight, resting your hands on the sides of your hips and your elbows bent back. Arch your back and bring your head back, resting your crown on the mat or blanket on which you are.

Take a deep breath and close your eyes, concentrating on your solar plexus. Stay in this position for a few seconds. Now rest your forearms on the floor while you inhale, lifting your head up and forward from the floor.

Keep the spine in the air, and exhaling now support the back, shoulders, and finally the head. Just relax.

Viparita Karani Mudra

The Viparita Karani Mudra exercise, or Inverted Pelvic position, is a posture that among other things helps to regulate the thyroid gland, in addition to the sexual ones. On the other hand, it is useful to regain vitality, which is why it is known as “the posture of youth.”

Lie on your back with your arms at the side of your body, your legs together, and your chin close to your neck. Inhale and lift both legs as you raise your hips. Place your hands behind your hips, thumbs forward.

You will observe how the feet begin to project towards the ceiling. Remain in this posture, inhaling and exhaling continuously, concentrating on the breath. Try to stay like this for a few minutes.

To return to the original situation, turn around supporting your back, at the same time that when you support your hips, stretch your legs well by pushing your heels outwards. Just relax.
